Welsh football star Ramsey has increased the bounty for leads concerning the lost canine named Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state region.
Halo, who disappeared on October 9th, was had on a GPS collar, and the footballer published a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Big reward for locating her. We are all hoping she is safe and comes home to our side quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Ramsey initially announced that Halo had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently shared multiple images of the beloved pet on his social media account.
A £7,500 incentive was originally announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the reward.
"We just want our girl home," he said in another request on social media after the elderly dog disappeared.
A recent image share is a monochrome image of the beagle napping, its head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the message: "What I'd do to embrace you one last time sweet Halo."
Ramsey has additionally circulated a statement from his spouse Colleen on online channels saying they have several "pressing questions" about the event and are concerned the household "might not get clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for our dog. I fear we will," the spouse's message read.
The Welsh skipper became part of Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the first prominent British Isles athlete to compete in the Mexico's top division.
